once you select a topic of interest hey-people will preferably connect you with chat partners with the same interest.

don't worry: if no other partner with the same interest is availabel hey-people will connect you with partners with other interest than yours.

blacklist

by clicking the blacklist button, you can prevent meeting your current chat partner again.

friendship

get a quick ID (only nickname and password) to propose friendship to users you meet and to reconnect with them at any time when they are online.

you can use this feature without registration, but you will lose your contacts, once you close your browser.
